Being an immigrant myself gave me the experience of going through my own immigration journey. I spent lengthy periods of time and put a lot of effort into clarifying questions which on many occasions became very frustrating. At some point, while thinking about changing careers, I decided that I wanted to be the person who helped other immigrants like myself get answers and plan strategies. I decided I wanted to represent them throughout their immigration journey. I moved to Canada in April of 2012 as a temporary worker for a post-doctoral position at the University of Calgary. I came from Mexico with a PhD in Biomedical Sciences and specialized in Molecular Biology. As a scientist, my training was based on developing strategies to answer key questions, solve problems and communicate my results in the simplest way possible. I developed a great attention to detail as well as astute research skills. Additionally, I have a very deep sense of responsibility. All these skills and characteristics have become essential for me now as a Registered Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) to plan immigration strategies and to offer advice that is appropriate to each particular case. These skills also allow me to represent my clients in a committed, efficient, and high-quality manner.
