To qualify, candidates needed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 800. They also had to create their Express Entry profile before 7:17 p.m. UTC on 11 February 2025.
High Competition in 2025 Draws
This August draw marks the fourth of the month and features the second-highest CRS score this year. The top score of 2025 was 802, set in February’s first PNP draw.
This latest draw is the second PNP-focused draw of August. Earlier this month, IRCC held a French-language proficiency draw on 8 August, a Canadian Experience Class (CEC) draw on 7 August, and a PNP draw on 6 August.

This year, IRCC has issued 53,320 invitations through Express Entry. The majority targeted PNP candidates. The remaining invitations went to CEC candidates, French-language proficiency candidates, and priority occupation categories.
