New Brunswick issued 669 invitations to provincial immigration candidates in six selection rounds held on June 3 and June 4, with workers in priority fields receiving attention.
The invitations went through three New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program streams and the Atlantic Immigration Program. Candidates worked in construction, health care, education, manufacturing, transportation, professional and IT, sales and service, and other trades.
Most invitations came through the NBPNP, which made up 86.1 per cent of the total. The Skilled Worker Stream led the series with 381 invitations, or about 57 per cent of all invitations issued.
On June 3, the province held two Skilled Worker draws. The New Brunswick Experience pathway invited 243 candidates in construction trades and health care. This pathway targets people already living and working in New Brunswick for an eligible employer, with at least six months of full-time work experience.
The New Brunswick Graduates pathway invited 138 candidates in education, social and community services, construction trades, health care and transportation. It applies to international graduates from eligible New Brunswick study programs who work full time for an eligible employer or have accepted a qualifying offer.
The cut-off date and time for both Skilled Worker draws was June 2, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
New Brunswick issued 146 invitations on June 3 through its Strategic Initiative Stream. The invitations went through New Brunswick Francophone Priorities and Francophone Workers in New Brunswick.
The province issued 94 invitations through Francophone Priorities and 52 through Francophone Workers in New Brunswick. Both draws selected construction trades, education, social and community services, health care, manufacturing, professional and IT, transportation, and sales and service.
Francophone Priorities targets French-speaking foreign nationals with priority links to New Brunswick, including francophone graduates of eligible provincial post-secondary programs or candidates invited by Immigration New Brunswick.
Francophone Workers in New Brunswick targets French-speaking foreign nationals who work full time for an eligible employer or have a qualifying job offer. Candidates must have lived in the province for at least six months or received their offer through a special recruitment mission.
The cut-off for both draws was June 2, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. AST.
On June 4, New Brunswick invited 75 candidates through the NBPNP Express Entry Stream under the Employment in New Brunswick pathway. Selected categories included construction trades, education, social and community services, health care, manufacturing, professional and IT, and transportation.
This pathway targets Express Entry candidates who have lived in New Brunswick for at least 12 months and worked full time in a TEER 0 to 3 job for a provincial employer during that time. The cut-off was June 3, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. AST.
The province also invited 97 candidates through the Atlantic Immigration Program on June 3. Candidates had Expression of Interest profiles and worked in construction, education and community services, health care, manufacturing, other trades, professional and IT, sales and services, and transportation.
The AIP is an employer-led permanent residence pathway for foreign nationals with job offers from designated employers in New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia or Prince Edward Island. Applicants need provincial endorsement and must meet basic language, work experience, education and settlement fund requirements.
