New Brunswick issued 750 immigration invitations across four pathways during multiple selection rounds in July.
New Brunswick has invited 750 immigration candidates through several provincial selection rounds held between July 16 and July 22, offering opportunities across the Provincial Nominee Program and the Atlantic Immigration Program.
The province conducted a series of immigration draws over one week, issuing a combined total of 750 invitations through the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) and the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP). The invitations were spread across four immigration pathways and focused on addressing labour shortages in several important sectors.
Candidates selected under the NBPNP may now apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residence. Those invited through the Atlantic Immigration Program can apply for a certificate of endorsement, which allows them to submit a permanent residence application to the federal government.
Healthcare workers were included in every draw during this round of invitations, reflecting the province's continued demand for medical professionals. Other occupations selected varied depending on the immigration stream and pathway.
Construction trades, manufacturing, transportation, professional and IT occupations, education, social and community services, sales and services, and other skilled trades also received invitations throughout the selection period.
The Skilled Worker Stream accounted for 267 invitations across two selection rounds held between July 16 and July 18.
The first selection invited candidates through the New Brunswick Experience and New Brunswick Priorities pathways. A total of 58 invitations went to workers in construction trades and healthcare. Candidates needed to have submitted their profiles by 11:59 p.m. AST on July 15, 2026.
A second draw on July 18 issued 209 invitations through the New Brunswick Graduates pathway. This round targeted graduates working or holding job offers in construction, education, healthcare, manufacturing, professional and IT occupations, transportation, sales and services, and other trades. The cut-off for this draw was 11:59 p.m. AST on July 17.
The New Brunswick Experience pathway is designed for people already living and working full-time in the province for at least six months. The Priorities pathway serves candidates who secured job offers through provincial recruitment missions, while the Graduates pathway supports eligible international students who completed post-secondary education in New Brunswick.
New Brunswick also conducted a Strategic Initiative Stream draw on July 16, issuing 254 invitations.
The draw focused on the Francophone Workers in New Brunswick and New Brunswick Francophone Priorities pathways. Invitations were sent to French-speaking candidates working in education, food and accommodation, healthcare, manufacturing, transportation, professional and IT, and sales and service occupations. The profile submission deadline was July 15 at 11:59 p.m. AST.
The Express Entry Stream issued 115 invitations through the Employment in New Brunswick pathway. Candidates working full-time in eligible occupations for at least 12 months in the province were considered. This was the smallest selection round among the NBPNP draws held during the period.
The province completed its immigration activity with an Atlantic Immigration Program draw on July 22, issuing 114 invitations.
The employer-driven program targeted candidates in construction, healthcare, education, manufacturing, transportation, professional and IT, sales and services, and other skilled trades. The profile cut-off was July 21 at 11:59 p.m. AST.
The Atlantic Immigration Program allows designated employers in New Brunswick and other Atlantic provinces to hire qualified foreign workers. Successful applicants must have a valid job offer endorsed by the province and meet federal requirements related to language ability, education, work experience, and settlement funds.
